One thing stuck with me was his statement about the distortion of facts and his question: “Do you know that to be true?” Reply For me it was his ability to apply and master reason and logic in his discourse with such clarity and ease. I think the face of The Western Church would be so different today if we stopped trying so hard and if we did not treat everyone else with such arrogance and supremacy because we are in possession of the truth. There are so many Christian leaders out there that when trying to reach the lost world, all they display is pride when they way to another man’s heart will always be through humility and thinking less of ourselves. Beyond Ravi Zacharias’ obvious eloquence and vast knowledge, there is a clear and constant thread of humility and grace in everything he is saying which I have no doubt must have brought so many people to Christ by simply allowing the freedom that Christ brings to flow through his arguments and his non-pushy approach to religion and belief. As I said, for me, a true light in the ever pressing darkness around us today. Thank you for your comment Larry. With love, Mercedes Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Enter your comment here...
